Originally from Santa Barbara, California, Dr. McCaskey earned his Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from the University of California, Santa Barbara. He went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, where his early exposure to Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery shaped his commitment to pursuing advanced surgical training.

Dr. McCaskey completed his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Florida–Jacksonville, where he also earned his medical degree from the University of Florida College of Medicine. This dual-degree training provides a comprehensive foundation for the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery.

Dr. McCaskey is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon with expertise spanning dentoalveolar surgery, dental implant reconstruction, bone grafting, orthognathic (corrective jaw) surgery, maxillofacial pathology, facial trauma, and complex reconstructive procedures. He is fully certified in the administration of all forms of anesthesia, ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and comfort.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. McCaskey proudly serves as a Major in the United States Army Reserve, reflecting his commitment to leadership, service, and excellence beyond the operating room.

Dr. McCaskey is dedicated to delivering refined, patient-centered care with an emphasis on precision, safety, and an exceptional surgical experience.

Outside of his practice, he values time with family and friends, remains actively engaged in continuing education to stay at the forefront of his field, and maintains an active lifestyle.
